We are a small Boer Goat breeding farm in SW Washington, not far from Portland, OR. We breed for good conformation, healthy animals and good mothering instincts. All of our does, and the bucks we used, have been tested, with negative results, for CL, CAE and Johnnes Disease.
We have blacks, reds and a red paint. You just never know what colors will pop out next. Maybe spots in January, 2011?
Wuzzie, our black (with 1 white spot) fb doe has kidded with a single buckling. He is a deep, deep red in color. Pictures coming soon.
My first attempt at disbudding was not very successful and we will not have disbudded bucklings for 4-H. I'm disappointed but will do a better job next year.
I also own, and show, a Tibetan Mastiff (TM), Rogue. You can see her picture to the left. She has her own page for more pictures. I'll be adding info on TMs eventually.
Thanks for visiting Blackberry Acres!
